Right, the fiveseven is a peice of crap so its gone. The ranking system was a peice of crap so its been fixed. And in the meantime I added 3 maps... two of which are possible candidates for the map rotation. More info on those maps here.

  I'm actually a little late in posting this since it was done a couple days ago...

Mani is now completely up to date, and quake sounds have been fixed ;) TurboLeveling is now running too. If you hate or love turboleveling, you can comment about it in the forums or drop us an email. 

 

The ranking system has been changed in order to make the game more fair to everyone. Here's a short list of changes:

  • Ranks are now based on points
  • You get points for your kill based on the skill of both you and your victim
  • Weapons are weighted (You get more points for a knife kill than using the ak47)
  • After about a week of absence from the server points will slowly 'decay'
  • If your points decay, just play on the server again and your points will be fully restored

For all those still wondering, yes I am alive!  School and work has been taking up most my time these past few weeks, but I have great news to our loyal members.  As id hinted from the last post, on the 14th (this Saturday), I will be completely updating the server and all its mods to the latest versions. 

Hopefully, I will be able to use most of the old files as templates for reconstructing the new server, but it's unlikely.  Updating should definitely be done by 4 pm Central Time so come and check it out!

And to reiterate what id said, upcoming projects for the clan include a HLStatsX ranking system and user forums.  See you all this Saturday!

We've been working on a number of little things the past few weeks... here's a short update:

Added NoBlock mod
Reconfigured MANI
Added Quake Sounds (finally) =)

 Mani has been releasing a ton of updates, so after the CS:S update this weekend, if all goes well, we'll be updating all our mods to the latest versions.

HLStatsX will hopefully be installed on our server within the next month or two also.

We've added a 'scrimshots' page where we will be posting screenshots of our scrims whenever they occur. If you have some you'd like posted feel free to email us. When we have had a few scrims we'll probably end up just making a page dedicated to scrims.

And finally: In order to make feedback easier, we'll eventually add forums to the site...
